Established by OMA 40’s Decade Alumni

Primary Criteria for Eligibility:

• Must be a deserving student who demonstrates strong academic achievement
• Consideration given to descendants of OMA alumni
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Must exhibit outstanding leadership skills
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills
• Consideration given to applicants with previous military service and involvement in national, state, or community service

Preference Consideration:

• First preference: GOLD Program members or students pursuing a degree in Military History
• Second preference: Descendants of OMA alumni
• If neither preference can be met, the scholarship may be awarded to any student who meets the remaining eligibility requirements
