Primary Criteria

• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA prior to applying for the scholarship and/or an ACT score of 21 or higher
• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA to continue receiving the award
• Must be a single parent with responsibility for the custody, health, and welfare of one or more minor children
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Must exhibit outstanding leadership skills and effective communication skills
• Must show evidence of community involvement
